About

I am a longtime resident of Old Town, Alexandria in Northern Virginia. Every Saturday morning from dawn until noon, I sell my artwork on the Square at the Old Town Farmers Market.  My booth is on the interior corner of the fountain at King and Royal Streets. I enjoy meeting visitors and sharing my watercolors. Most of my paintings capture iconic scenes from Old Town’s streets and stately houses, landscapes of places near and far, as well as farm animals. I also enjoy doing commissions – often from photographs – of people’s houses, country homes and of course their pets.

I am a member of the Art League Gallery – at the Torpedo Factory Art Center on the Potomac River at the foot of King Street- a must see for visitors. Most recently, my work was published in the Market Square Cookbook: Alexandria’s Founders, Farmers and Food by Tiffany Pache, my neighbor in Old Town; as well as the Potomac Valley Watercolorists 40th Anniversary Book.

I retired from Time Life Books where I worked as a picture editor. Before that I was the research manager for Hallmark Gallery in New York City.
